Last day
Tuesday, August 5, 20088:58 PM
It was my last day at Digi today!
For those of you who don't already know, I've been working in Digi's HQ as an intern since May 5th and the contract of my internship was for 3 months which ended today.

I have to say, the 3 months passed like a breeze.
I still remembered what I used to say "Goodness, I have to wake up early for 5 days a week, for 3 freaking months. It's going to last FOREVER!!". (Note that I love to use the word "forever". I use it alot, like seriously alot.)
I remembered how it was like going for the interview.
The lady's name was Kimmy Phuah, she seemed to have this bossy look at first, but she's really not that bad. I would say she's the best boss any intern could have because she is just so flexible. She doesn't tie you down.
On the first day there was one thing on my mind, "who shall I have lunch with?!"
Went for lunch with my boss on the first day.
Then..I went for training on the second day. Sat next to this girl who was also new..introduced myself and got to know her name, Eelyn. A very nice and friendly girl, sweet looking too.
After that, I got to know Pinky, followed by Ms. Lee who then introduced me to Hong Yip which led to Willie, Alex Liew,Yap, Zen, Benny, Kevin, Joo Dee, Joann. Other than that, there was this one particular day where a guy by the name Charlie sat next to me in the office. He introduced me to Nic Lai, Nicholas and Emma. Got to know the bosses of the sales people and renewal team as well : Mervyn and Barry. Alex Wong was introduced by Kimmy and if I'm not mistaken, he told me he was from Inti as well. Adding to that there were people I got to know from other departments such as Bal and my ex boss Edwin's friend whom I am so sorry, I forgot his name. This month, there was a new girl friend and her name is Yean! She's the one who shocked me when she said she had a 40 year old bf. Oh, I made friends with the cafeteria lady as well!
There are many many others whom I may not be able to recall now but if I see them, I should be able to recognise them. hehe.

Alot happened within these 3 months, there were plenty of ups and downs in my personal life.
But, this post is solely dedicated to my work experience so..the personal life bit would be left out.

Although I complained almost everyday about how bored and how sleepy I am at the office, I have to admit, it was awesome working in Digi. It's not about the light workload or the flexible hours. It's about the people who are in it. They're always willing to help, willing to guide and willing to take you out for lunch. haha!
Throughout the months I've been brought to various places for lunch..places I've never been before, and since I'm such a food lover, it was a great experience. Not to mention there were times we took lunches as long as 3 hours. Eg: K lunches
Like Benny said, "we are a family"
I asked "what family?"
Benny "snake family"
I tell you, that dude cracks me up alot because he always translates canto directly into english. haha.

AND, although most of the people were chinese speaking while I was the only banana around, it was amazing how some of them who rarely speaks english makes the effort to speak to me in english. They're all very good friends despite the language barrier. :)

Anyway..I just wanna say..Each and everyone of you have been such a great company, girls and guys alike. And I will most definitely miss all of you.
Thank you so much for giving me such wonderful memories as an intern. I'm sure I am one of the luckiest intern ever. Hugs! *smiles*

p.s. : I wanted to upload pictures but my internet is taking forever to load.
