Day 2 (19 August 2008) :: Phi Phi Cruiser -> Coral Bay -> Phi Phi Island -> Hotel -> Seafood/Shop-Phi Phi Cruiser-On the second day we had to wake up at 6am (I am not an early riser!) to have our breakfast and we had to rush off to the ship dock for our cruise to Phi Phi Island. The journey to Phi Phi Island by cruise was approximately 3 hours. SUPER long ok. I would've preferred to go by speedboat but noooo my parents wanted the AIR COND. Oh well.
The journey to the Phi Phi Island seemed short but the journey back home felt like forever. =/

This was where we sat throughout the journey. Food (croissant + water/coffee) were included and there was a small gift shop at the lowest floor.
There were a few levels of the upper deck as well.
Went to pay the deck a visit and well, it was filled with the whites.
They love the sun!

These are just the few of them before the rest boarded in.
I think the population of the white tourists exceeds the Thai people who are living in Phuket because I see them in every direction I turn to. And the guys have the habit of taking of their shirts anywhere and everywhere.
Even while riding the motorbike on the streets of Phuket.
Feels like those California scenes you see in the movies. haha.
They are also extremely friendly!
Shall not elaborate on that.

Halfway through the journey we were able to see various islands which were uninhabited and everything looks so serene and clean.

These caves were actually part of the package if you would like to try canoeing.
Me and my sisters wanted to go to the James Bond Island for canoeing but my parents wanted to go for shopping the next day instead. I have vowed to go to the James Bond Island the next time I go to Phuket!

Picture of me and my sister staring out at the peacefull sea. It was a candid shot by my dad. :)

Extreme cuteness should be a crime! This boy is soo cuteee. His name is Charles. What a suitable name! I felt like abducting him and making him my baby. He just kept turning behind and we played around with him for awhile. I think I can be the best cute baby stalker.
-Coral Bay-When we arrived at this place known as the Coral Bay, we had to change to a smaller ship our snorkeling.
It was my FIRST time going for snorkeling!
The first time I put on my flippers I nearly tripped and fell because the flippers were so long and it kept getting caught between the chairs.
Soo..I learned that instead of walking like normal with the flippers on, I had to drag my feet in order to be stable.
I felt like a DUCK. hahaha.

I told my dad, "ddee! take picture of me and the flippers!"
But the first picture my dad took was just the upper part.
"Noo noo!! Must be able to SEE the flippers, I said"
And I climbed up on the chair, and stuck out my foot.

Ah..successful picture of me and flippers!!
After that, I collected my mask and breathing thingie (forgot what it was called) and wore my life jacket.

We had to climb down the ladder from this area and swim past the rope to get to the other side..

Which was this! I swimmed around in this!
The water was sooo clear and I could see plenty of corals and nemo fishes swimming here and there. So....prettyyyyyy!!!

After the whole snorkeling thing, I got back on the boat and drank some free pepsi.
Was so refreshing. :)

Picture of me pretending to look like Mother Theresa but I've failed miserably because I don't think Mother Theresa would've ever pranced around in a bikini with only her headgear on.
-Phi Phi Island-After snorkeling everyone was just too tired to change back into their usual clothes, therefore, girls came down the ship in bikinis while the guys came down shirtless.
However, Old folks wore their usual clothes.

Can you spot me? ;)
Oh! I almost forgot! The Thai announcer on the boar was HILARIOUS. Totally cracked me up when I heard what he said. hahahaha.
Thai Dude : Everbody please move your body to the retoron. Don't leave your body in the bot. Please take your belonging to the retoron because your belonging belong to you.
Folo me to the retoron because because you dunno where the retoron. You go to the retoron for lan.
Please come in bot 5 minuutes before the bot leave. If you come 5 minuutes after the bot leave, the bot will leave you. But its ok, you can wait for another boat at 9.
Tomorrow morning.

We had our lunch at Phi Phi Island Hotel and I refused to eat anymore than 2 scoops of rice because I had to maintain my slim tummy at all costs. hahaha.
The clear tom yum soup was really delicious though!

After lunch me and my sisters headed off to the breading salon. They have various styles of breading and all you have to do is point at it and tell 'em how many you want on your hair and they'd do it for you. They're really fast at it as well.
I chose pink strings because I wanted something outstanding and pretty. nyek nyek nyek. ;P

There were plenty of souvenier shops around and honestly it's like, one of THE best place to be when you wanna let lose.
Almost everyone on the island walks around in bikini's and flip flops. ;)

We didn't have much time to spend by the beach because the last ship leaves Phi Phi Island at 3pm.
But, I can finally proudly say I have realised one of my dreams which is to step on pearly white beach sand with crystal clear blue water. It's such a wonderful feeling =)

Took this picture on the journey home..was pretty tired..slept throughout the whole journey.
-Hotel-When we arrived at the hotel, we immediately discussed "WHERE to eat?"
It was a crucial task. Food was important.
I was starving like madness from the afternoon's "2 scoops of rice".

Picture of me on the hotel bed. muahaha.
Nothing much happened in the hotel except for some picture taking..soo there's nothing to blog about here.
-Seafood/Shop-We decided to go for seafood which was recommended by this aunty who was staying at the same hotel for the 4 days 3 nights. She recommended YoYo Seafood.
We took the hotel taxi there about 7pm.
Parents ordered coconut tom yum, lobster, huge prawns, clamshells, fish, vegetables and coconuts to drink.
I think I've drank about 3 coconuts on my own while I was in Phuket. Coconut overload. =/

Delicious food pictures!
Oh yeah, I should mention this. While you're there, there would be people standing outside the seafood restaraunts persuading you to go into their restaraunt. And mind you, there's not only one, there's a whole row of those restaraunts. So if you do see a restaraunt you want to go to, just walk straight in to evade others from dragging you around.
I ike the fact that you're able to choose your own seafood and tell them to cook it the way you want it to be. :)
After our extremely delicious dinner, we started shopping.
The street was pretty much like our petaling street therefore it didn't interest me that much.
But, I was soo excited when I saw the belly rings!
They were all so bling-y in pretty unlike those in Malayisa.
Their designs are so different and rare and almost every other shop sells different types of belly rings.
I was going insane.

Bought a few of the belly rings from this shop which displayed all the possible places for piercing.
When I saw the displays of those above, all I could think of was "ouch!" Followed by "That's insane".
Then my dad said, "hah, you see la, pierce here pierce there would lead to all these"
I said "NO LAH! Are you crazy?! I will never pierce like THAT"
The places some people pierce are really damnnn Gila babi.

Here's a picture of Thailand's most popular mode of public transport. Presenting, the TUK TUK car! Cute huh? It's like a mini lorry. haha.

We went home from the street by tuk tuk.
Chose a yellow one because it was cute, unlike the many red tuk tuk's out there.
Plus it had blue lights inside.

I remember walking along the street when I heard some loud music booming with all the base and techno-ish music from behind.
Turned around and ...woah, it was a TUK TUK with a BOOM box and there were a group of tourists which were teenagers shouting around and laughing, loudly. Cool. hahaha.
That's about it for Day 2, shall be blogging about Day 3 soon!
Which is..

and...the Simon Cabaret show! Also known as Ah Kua show.
hahaha. =D
