=Christmas Eve Celebration at Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi =I've been to Colmar Tropicale for their Christmas dinner 3 times.
The first time it RAINED and they didn't have a canopy. I don't know if it was sheer stupidity or that they just didn't have a brain. Everything was decorated so nicely and they said "oh we asked a bomoh and the bomoh said it won't rain today" (My dad asked "no canopy? what if it rains?"). They actually paid a bomoh to "chant" around and TRUSTED the bomoh. hahahahaha. Having a bomoh to chant over a Christmas Celebration? It's no wonder the opposite effect happened. I drank some red wine and got drunk (I'm a really bad drinker. boohoo). Puked like there's no tomorrow and my face was as white as a corpse the next day.
The second time was alright. They had some nice stage shows but the crowd weren't happening and the dj was kinda boring.
Maybe the third time's a charm? =)
The thing I like about Colmar Tropicale a.k.a. the Malaysian "French Village" would be it's serenity.
So anyway..before I get off-topic again, here's the whole account of my experience of The Christmas Eve Celebration I had with my family at Colmar Tropicale:

I had no idea what to wear because..I DID NOT buy any new clothes for Christmas this year. *gasp*
Didn't have the motivation to buy..and the reason for this would be my closset which is currently VERY difficult to close. My youngest sister tried to search for a dress and she claimed that her hands were tired of pushing the hangers of clothes which wouldn't budge.
The thing is, I've ALREADY packed alot of clothes to be given away. For a moment, there were spaces in my closset here and there. But..after a few days, it was all filled up again. I give up. My closset has the magical ability to appear clothes on its own.

I was pratically sitting at the foot of my closset staring at my clothes before I made up my mind to pack my red halter dress which I've worn quite a few times. I've worn this for one of my birthday dinner at the KL Tower and I've worn it for my photoshoot with Extreme Cars Magazine. And guess how much it costs?
RM15. Freaking cheap dress. But I like it. haha.
Btw, I ALWAYS wear red on Christmas and Cny.
Why Red on Christmas?
'Cause the Santa hat (I'd always wear a santa hat for Christmas celebrations as well) is red and I need red clothes to match. duh.

Well, as usual I had to take some photos of myself for memories. =)

Those canopies outside were put up "just-in-case-it-rained" since the first experience with the rain. I guess they did learn from their past mistakes. The funny thing is, it never rained after that. l-o-l.

I think I should make the look-out-the-window-emoly pose as my signature picture because the "mirror image" style (take a picture of your reflection in the mirror) is kinda old. Everyone's doing it. I would take a picture like this everywhere I travel from now on! hehe

Candid picture by my dad.

I totally adore that jester. He's SO funny! =)
Plus, he told me he lives in PJ.
I don't know why he had to make me such a big balloon. But it was really nice.
Some kid stole it towards the end of the night though.
I got robbed. By. a. kid.

Look at his white painted face and his cute expression. How can anyone not like him? hahaha.
Around 10pm++, a man came up to me and asked for my band number (we were required to wear bands like those you'd be given if you enter the theme park).
So I said: A138
He wrote down my number and happily said, "later when the dj calls your number, please go on stage. You've been chosen as a contestant in the best dressed competition"
I was like.. "OH NO."
'cause there's quite a lot of people there and I am NOT good with stages and all.
Oh yeah, there were alot of other contests as well. So much more of the crowd interaction this year. And there were loads of Singaporeans among us. haha.

Those were the contestants. 3 guys and 3 girls. (The Dj was hilarious)
1 pair of Indians, 1 pair of whites and 1 pair of Chinese. The chinese dude isn't in the picture because he wasn't called up yet when my dad took this picture.
The winner was chosen based on who-has-the-loudest-cheer. Which made me even MORE nervous 'cause it would be so embarassing if the dj says "contestant number 3!" and its all silence with crickets chirping. Right? RIGHT????
Surpisingly I won-
lah.
hahaha. Wasn't expecting that. But having the crowd cheer for you is quite exhilarating I must say.

And the dude who won was the white guy from Germany.

Me and my "prize". It's some golf thing worth RM600.
Since I do not play golf
at all, I told my mom to give it away as a present to those golf-lover-friends she has.
Another thing, my mom won a spa treatment worth RM800+ in a lucky draw as well!
Isn't it just marvelous?!?
I feel as though the good things are suddenly swirling in after all the disaster I experienced in the first part of the year. woot! Can things get any better?! =)

Me and my sisters were walking around when my beloved cute jester came up to us again. Took a picture with him.

And he helped us with a group-sister picture. =)

I feel like mrs. clause. LMAO.

Picture taken by my sis.
Around 11.45pm we returned to our seats to prepare for the countdown. It was really happening! Me and my sisters joined in the line the crowd made, jiggled around the whole place and we danced on the dance floor. I danced with the jester as well. X)
At 12AM we popped the party poppers and wished everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Last but not least, my
super cute old-but-young parents. hahahahahaha
It was an awesome night =)
