Twilight

Okayy..I was supposed to blog about this a few days ago.
I've finally watched the much-anticipated Twilight movie. Yes, I loved the Twilight series. I have all the books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) and I've finished reading all of 'em.
Personally, I knew the book would always be better.
I didn't imagine Edward to look like THAT though. I imagined him to look more like Christian Haydensen.
First of all, Robert Pattison is WAY too full of himself. He looks okay in the movie, but in real life, he's like all "yeah, I'm THE man". Typical. Search for him in Youtube if you don't believe me. He looks drunk ALL the time when he's off set as well. Same goes to the lead actress Kristen Stewart. Her voice is so...damn, blur. Plus, she actually claimed that she didn't have the time to work on this movie/she had no idea the series existed/when she read the novel for the first time, she didn't like it. Ironic much?
Oh, and Robert Pattison's acting somewhat reminds me of some retarded kid in some of the scenes.

On the other hand....
I think Taylor Lautner (plays Jacob Black in the movie) is just...so hot.
Although he didn't look THAT good in Twilight, when he's off-set, oh-my-world. It could start a crazy-girl-fans frenzy.
The way he smiles..the way he talks..sigh.

But..the thing is..he's YOUNG.
Not gonna reveal his age. If you want to know..google it. =(

On another story altogether, I would like to talk about Yakuza Moon.

I watched a documentary about her on the Discovery Channel a few months ago and I went out searching for the book but to no avail.
At MPH the other day, while I was purchasing another book "The Gift by Cecilia Ahern", I caught a glimpse of a tattooed body on the cover on a book and immediately I knew, it was the book I was looking for. I remembered how it looked like when it was held it up in the show. I was so EXCITED (yes, I get excited over books as well. Not only over shoes or bags or clothes.).
Her story intrigued me to purchase her book and I finished reading it in one sitting.

Written by Shoko Tendo, Yakuza Moon was the story of her life being a daughter of a Yakuza ever since she was a child. She was able to tell her story in such detail that you would feel as though you were in that era with her. I would say it's an accomplishment for someone who didn't go through the normal process of education.
I nearly teared while reading her book.
Will not give out any spoilers here. If you want to know more..buy the book. It's only RM87.75 =)
