ANNIE'S 21st BIRTHDAY

It was Annie's 2st Birthday celebration yesterday..(real birthday falls on 9th March) and she decided to make it a celebration between close friends.
Wise choice, because we had an awesome time!
Zhi Yun came over to my place at about 1.20pm and we went to Berry's to get the chocolate banana cake for Annie.
Then..Annie and Nadia arrived at 3pm+ after class. They brought bags and bags of stuff which made them look like they're running away from home. haha.
So anyway, the picture above would be me posing with Nadia's kimono top. Decided to post the picture to show how aunty-like I look at home, with my hair all frizzled up (when un-tie by hair from the bun, the back of my hair would look like that. So that explains the weird shape).

Despite the "garang" look I have when I'm outside, at home I'm very crazy and whacky and geeky and I'd do LOADS of stupid and random stuff. Only the closest of my closest friends and family would've seen me like this! I'm like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyydeeee. nyahahahaha :p

We were so captivated by Annie's gorgeous Humps, we were posed with it like it's one of the 7 wonders of the world.
At about 5pm+ we began to get ready.
Time to get out of my big comfy house shirt and into some bareback halter dress instead.

Helping Zhi Yun with her eye make up although I'm not so good at it myself.

Naturally we had to have a group picture after dressing up.
I think there's a big difference between my first picture up there with a big white shirt and this one. It's like 2 completely different people.
I do sometimes wish that I was born beautiful (Example:Song Hye Kyo) but the sad truth is that I'm not. I'm just average looking.. BUT I'm happy with what I am because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made (quote from the Bible. See I know my stuff). ;)
Anywayyy..Annie drove us to this African restaraunt by the name "
OUT OF AFRICA" which is located in PJ.
At first we were thinking "hey..this doesn't look like the pictures online" because it seems bigger in pictures.
But..after awhile the place began to grew in us because of its cozy atmosphere.
Plus, there were alot of white people there too.
I wonder how did they even know about the place when it looked so secluded?
-mystery-

Nothing much about this, it's just me posing with the restaraunt's menu and coincidentally I just noticed that the flower on the table was beautifully captured! Matches the colour of my dress.
*smiles*

This is the place where they grilled our meat.
I loved the deco.

Here's something about me and my girl friends: WE always tend to order too much. But, we're so proud of ourselves yesterday because we managed to order just the RIGHT amount of food. May not look much in the picture, but in reality, it was wayyy too filling.
When we were done with our dinner, we signalled for the waitress to bring over the cake!
And....the waiters/waitresses started singing "Happy Birthday" the African style. Annie was all blushing and being shy.. *aw*
When they sang the birthday song, it kinda reminded me of the LION KING. haha.
It was very unique though.

And that's the gorgeous birthday girl cutting her cake.
=)

Group picture with Annie!

and..another group picture.

Mua and some african statue heads.

I don't know why, but I seemed to have taken quite a few "one-legged" photos that night.
Obviously, I'm not posting all of 'em. This is just a sample.

Proper two-legged photo with Annie~

Signing off from "Out of Africa" at 8.40pm.
Proceeded to Euphoria's Chivas event.
;)
Will blog about that in another post.

-Preview-
