Cuti-Cuti Malaysia

I feel as though I'm on a holiday spree, visiting the Malaysian tourist "attraction" areas.
The ever so happening Yen decided that we should go to Bukit Tinggi a.k.a. Colmar Tropicale (NOT the Aeon Bukit Tinggi Jusco @ Klang) to hang out.
The thing is; she organised it, but she didn't know how to get there, how much the entrance fee costs, what time it opens and what time it closes (same case as Malacca).
It was a very "zha dou" moment when halfway through the journey Boon asked our car to lead instead. As usual.. Chan Heng claims he knows but he doesn't. :p

Okay, should start from the beginning of the day (Saturday May 23rd).
Yen picked me up from my house at around 8.45am, and decided to put the blame of being late on me. Sigh.
I decided to doll up because it's been a long time since I actually wore nicely. Been too lazy these days.
Most of the time I would just wear a cap and put on some boring clothes when I go out cuz I'm too lazy to blow dry my hair, find my clothes, etc etc.
Old already.
What can I say, I'm supposed to be in my "20s" soon (at the moment I'm still 20 ok). sien. :(

ANYWAY, back to the story: we finally arrived at Boon's place at 9.10am+ and went to Ming Tien for breakfast.
I can't recall the time we started our journey to Bukit Tinggi.
Wasn't looking at the time.

Was too bored in the car so me, Kerrine and Yen started taking loads of photos. Will not post all of it 'cause it's too many.
I prefer my left face compared to my right face. I should wear a mask similar to that of the one in "Phantom of The Opera" which covers the other side of the face.

When we arrived at Bukit Tinggi, our first stop was at the Japanese Tea Garden.
Btw, the entrance fee to Bukit Tinggi is RM10 per person (adult).

It was blazing hot that day. So much for hoping I could enjoy some cool air on the hill.

Stepping on that rock without my shoes felt good though. :)
I like the sound of the running mountain river..it's very relaxing. Fernie helped out with this picture..and I think it's really beautiful (I'm talking about the surrounding). She was able to capture the water beautifully.. the trees looked majestic, the ray of sunshine are shining at the right areas and it just has the whole "foresty", serene feel about it. The man in blue on the left kinda ruined it though. Should've cropped him out. haha. No wait, I think I kinda ruined the atmosphere too. The picture would've looked better without any human in it.

Ok, can you see the little hut behind me?
It was actually a cam-whore area. haha

Where us girls pretended to be "cute" and "Japanese-y".

We even found this superb spot for them to pretend to be in jail.
Look at their facial expressions, they're goooodd at acting. haha.
Except for Jaynee who looks much too happy to be in jail. :p

Group picture~!

While waiting for the shuttle back to the French Village, Jaynee, Chan Heng, Geng Jie and Chee Wee decided to walk because they were tired of waiting (after 45 minutes).
Me, being the "smart" girl who wore heels on the day preferred to wait than to walk back because it was quite a distance!

By the time we reached the French Village, we were dead hungry.
So, we ordered this giant pizza which was almost as big as the table.
May look small in the picture, but trust me, it was big.
The downside was the price of a bottle of water which was at RM4.60 per bottle. It's probably more expensive than the ones at Genting?

Chan Heng was "pissed" so he said we should finish the whole bottle of Tabasco sauce (my fav sauce for Pizza).
The lady gave us a completely new bottle and we managed to finish it.
Tada~!
Empty bottle. :p

--> the amount of Tabasco sauce I poured on Chan Heng's pizza just to make sure the last drop of sauce oozes out. haha.

After lunch, we began to walk aimlessly around.
On the way to the clock tower we came across the children's play room.
Ah, childhood memories. :)
There are pictures of us in the "colourful ball" area as well, but it isn't in my cam, so I'll just wait for it. ;)
Me and the cutey Kerrine :)

Me and pretty Jaynee ;)

When we were done cam-whoring at the children's play area, we went up to the clock tower, watched some people play games..went down to the pool side the chill out and finally, headed back down for some bah kut teh at PJ.
I still prefer Klang Bah Kut Teh though........

Upon the completion of our dinner, we were wondering if we should go for a movie.
But, I felt kinda lazy so I asked them to come over to my house for a movie instead.
Watched Apocalypto (old movie) because I haven't watched it although the dvd has been in my house for ages. Was too afraid..sigh. I'm such a chicken when it comes to watching horror/gruesome movies :/

*********************
Well, overall it was a fun day and the above post sounds like I'm happy the whole time but..

I don't know why I was just kinda down on that day. Was it just the pms? or was there something more?..
I tried to laugh, I tried to joke and fool around, I tried being my usual crazy self but I just couldn't enjoy myself fully. Even Yen asked me in the car "are you Regina? why so quiet wan?".

There's so many things going through my mind right now..

All I can say is..

Sometimes it is tough to laugh knowing that your heart is tearing,
Sometimes it is tough to smile knowing that you aren't happy,
Sometimes it is tough to pretend to be alive knowing that you're dying inside..
