My mom came to KL with my dad many years ago, rented a small room together and had so little money to spend, they had to give up alot of their "wants". They could only buy what they needed to survive.
She told me, her first job's salary was RM300...a month.
It was tough.
But, when I was born, my parents did everything necessary to provide everything for me.
Up 'till now, I can see that my mom only wants what's best for us.
She is the kind of person who wouldn't think about herself, but for others instead.
When we go shopping together, she would always end up buying things for me and my sisters and none for herself.
Coming from a poor background, my mom never had the chance to go through uni.
She loved studying but never got the chance to pursue it.
But, she constantly worked hard to achieve her success which we are enjoying today.
She made me believe that we shouldn't complain about hardships and there isn't a reason to give up.
Because..although she went through so much..she never complained. Not even once.
This is why, I've made a promised to myself.
That I would live my life well and I would study well.
On my graduation day, I want my mother to know that I am not studying only for myself..but for her too.
For all the things she went through, for all her dreams that she had given up for our sake, I want her to be happy that it hasn't gone to waste.
My mom isn't just a mother.
She is my protector, my counselor and my strength.
She is indeed..a superwoman :)
I thank God for sending me to her because there is not one thing I would change about her existence in this family.
So, on this special day, I would like to honour my mom and to wish her..
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY :)I love you mommy. Always and forever.
