Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa
@ Cyberjaya (12/9-13/9)
For my 21st birthday, I didn't want to do common stuff like..going to the club and all 'cause honestly I rather enjoy the company of my close friends in a chilling surrounding compared to the bombardment of noise. So, Fernie and RJ recommended the whole "rent a hotel room" idea. I had a few options. My first choice was Sunway because I remembered seeing beautiful pictures of the presidential suite. Sadly, they were very strict about the "2 people only" policy so I couldn't book the place. My mom then suggested a wonderful idea : Cyberview Lodge Resort. Their hotels are in the form of chalets and it's rather private.. plus they allowed us to have more people in a room because it isn't like the normal hotel rooms where you're so close by another room. They had 2 units of bungalows and when I visited the place I instantly fell in love with the Balinese inspired concept of the place. I chose unit no. 100 (they have 2 units: no.101 and no.100) because it overlooked the beautiful garden and the waterfall pool was just sooo close by. I love listening to the waterfall sound. ;p The picture above shows the masterbedroom's bathroom. It's a lot larger than the picture..behind that wood semi-wall, there's the WC and behind the brick wall's the shower. On the right is the supposed jacuzzi which we couldn't really operate because we didn't see any holes which boosts out the bubbles. But, the lady who showed us around told us it was a jacuzzi. Hmm. Was a nice bath-tub nonetheless.
This is the masterbedroom where me and a few of my friends slept. The lighting in the bungalow was a tinge of orange which gives the whole romantic ambiance. It's perfect for a honeymoon. haha.
Still a picture of the masterbedroom. On the right there's a flat screen TV and if you walk further in, that's where the toilet is located.
Presenting the dining table which was rarely used. :p
This is the other room in the bungalow~ It's nice too :)
Outside the bungalow, there were day-beds, rocking chairs, tea tables and chairs, etc for those who enjoy relaxing outdoors.
The dinner was set at Xing Zhu Chinese restaurant at 8pm.
We had to meet up at the lobby by 7.45pm for the shuttle to bring us there.
Zhi Yun and Annie whom I haven't seen and talked to in agessss. Was nice to have them around after so long. =)
Me and Yen+Fernie. I just realised that I didn't have a picture with Meryll in my own camera! =(
Time to steal from others. haha. As usual, I was too busy doing some other stuff and for that I'd have super limited photos. Sigh.
Following are pictures of the food:
Some four season thingie.
This looked weird to me because I've never seen shark fin soup being presented in such a way. It was delicious though. Nice presentation.
Marinated lamb.
Very delicious cod-fish. This was probably my favourite dish.
Salad prawns. Thank goodness they removed the shell. We didn't have to get all messy trying to remove the shell. :p
Abalone and brocolli.
Noodles which they kindly helped to distribute in small bowls.
The cute dessert! I forgot to take a picture of another dessert : the mango sago
Totally loved the bunny. haha. ;p
A group picture of everyone! =)
=)
=)
Back at the hotel, I took some cam-ho pictures and *ahem* pictures with the other girls which is in Yen's camera. hahaha.
After that, I went for a shower to remove the gunk from my face and to take off the wig.
Then, I heard Yen supposedly screaming for help saying that she was bullied and all.
When I went out, Fernie was holding the cake and they all sang happy birthday.
It was utter chaos while we were cutting the cake though. The whole cake was made of ice-cream and it was melting like lava from a volcano. After eating a slice of cake, each of us picked a spoon and started digging in like barbarians. The sight of us eating the cake was hilarious but I tried not to laugh. hahaha.
When the cake was finished, they passed me the presents. I was so touched I almost teared..
Can't believe they went out of the way to get the cake for me..and the presents were really nice too. I love all of 'em. =)
We continued the night by playing a few round of twisters and we played spin the bottle 'till 5am+. lol.
The next day, we bummed around 'till 5pm+, checked out and headed for a yummy dinner at a restaurant recommended by Fernie. I forgot how the name is spelled. It's an Italian restaurant : Kaffe/Caffe/Caff???? Shall confirm with her again. haha.
Lastly, I would like to thank Chan Heng, Yen (my first ever friend in final year. =D ), Fernie, Rong Jiang, Boon, Meryll, Nicky, Annie and Zhi Yun for coming and making those 2 days so special and interesting. I really appreciate you FUN friends. haha. All of you are so amazing. I can't ask for better friends than you people because each of you are like a ray of sunshine in my life which brings me joy and happiness. Thank you. =)
*hugs*
