It's been more than a month and I'm still enjoying BUMMING AROUND. A big whooppie for freedom! :)
Have watched almost all the movies and yesterday I got TRICKED by Chan Heng to watch the Laughing Gor. I was told that the movie was a comedy but, it was an action movie. I don't usually watch chinese movies you see, so I totally bought it because of the stupid name it has : "LAUGHING GOR". Anyway, it was something like..Infernal Affairs and the "Gor" is supposedly Kor as in "Tai KOR". Gawd. Awesome translations. Thank goodness it wasn't that bad, OR ELSE. lol.

This incident reminded me of the time when the IP Man movie was released.
Everyone was telling me "hey! go and watch I-P Man! It's really good!"
It made me wonder what was so good about I.P. Man. Wouldn't it be only about computers and stuff? sounded boring to me.
Then I heard that it had something to do with ancient China.
My thoughts turned to :Since when did they have computers in ancient China?
When I finally watched the show, I got what it mean. It's YIP MAN. The name of the character in the show.
Bloody hell, Malaysian chinese kinda fails at pronouncing chinese movie names.
Or maybe it's just a handfull of my friends. I don't know. To those who were in the same boat of bad pronounciations, don't get offended ok, I just think it's funny because all the while I was pronouncing it as I.P. Man as well, 'till I watched the movie. haha. :p

Oh yeah, I just have to say this: If you're driving a Kancil, Saga, Wira, Gen 2, Satria and various normal cars which normal people has, stop trying to stand out by installing a SHIP sounding engine to your car because not only does it make the car look CHEAP, it is ANNOYING. Do take note that a loud sounding car is only suitable for posh cars. I especially hate it when some cheap-ass poser dude steps out of his cheap, UGLY, modified car acting cool as though all the girls would drool over his mediocre car sounds, cheap paint, spoilers which are way too big for the car and its disgustingly hideous bodykit & skirting. It gives me the urge to throw my cup of limau ice to their direction.
