Went for my sister's belated dinner last weekend at Grand Imperial USJ 19. So it was kinda like, 2 times of Grand Imperial in a week.
The pros about Grand Imperial : Good food, Nice ambience, Excellent service, Free Karaoke if you're in the room
Con: Price (duh)
We should've gone with the package deal but nooo my youngest sister insisted on a per bowl shark fin soup which was a lot more costly compared to the normal ones.

Picture of my mom and dad......and my second sis was being a nuisance by forcing herself to be in the picture. hahaha! :p

Picture of me and the "bfs"! The one of the left is mine. hahaha
And on the right...my youngest sister's bf. Doesn't his head looks sooo tiny?? :p

My second sis was enjoying the shark fin so much she decided to "pao" my youngest sister's bowl of soup too. tsk tsk.

And of course..my favourite dish...the suckling piglet! It was so delicious...... I think I could eat a whole piglet on my own. haha.

After the dinner, my parents left and me+sisters+bfs stayed behind to sing! Karaoke was fun. It's been such a long time. :)

I like my darling's theme song "I'm a slave for you by Britney Spears". hahahahaha

My blog is sooo dead. I can't believe the last time I updated was on the 19th of Jan. That's like almost half a month ago. haha. I've been working everyday...jamming back everyday..easier said. Everyday's passing by kinda fast these days. Everything's in a whirl. Glad that my job is fun though. :)
The pic above was taken about 2 days ago at the Bangsar Shopping Center. The whole of CPD (Consumer Products Division) had a farewell for our GM who is stepping down soon. Had our dinner at Grand Imperial and oh my...I never expected so many tables to be present because... us MT's were told to present a song+dance with the title "I Will Survive". hahaha. Was SO nervous before our 'lil 'Presentation". Btw, they picked that song for us. Wonder why huh? :p
A pair from the previous batch of MT's sang to "Good girls gone bad" and I must say, it was awesomeee! The girl really has a lot of similarities to Paris Hilton (looks wise, I'm sure she's alot smarter than the bimbo character Paris portrays). She's like the chinese version of Paris Hilton. lol!
Well...in summary, the night was just fantastic. We got to see how the people are really like when they let lose and I must say, they are a fun bunch. Yes, even the top management people! They work hard and play hard. I'd like to be like that.  ;)

Okay...hmm *taps keyboard*
*thinks what to type*
Oh! And it's my youngest sister's (Andrea) birthday celebration tomorrow! Her original day of birthday's on 26th of Jan but we've decided to celebrate it tomorrow instead. Yummy...I'm going back to Grand Imperial again..but this time it's the one at the USJ 19 Mall. Newly opened I suppose?
HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY to my BABY sister (again)!

In terms of work..
I'm currently back in the office..attached to Key Accounts for 2 weeks. I'm brushing up on my excel...and I just realised that I totally suck at excel big time. There's so many functions and ways to use it that I think I'd have to use it everyday in order to remember it. So people! LEARN how to use the excel because no matter what position you're at in the future, in the office, it's gonna help you save a lot of time in terms of sorting out your datas. I'm serious. Start learning now (and not just auto sum okay), so you won't have to suffer later. Trust me on this. Excel is not some useless thing  =)

Last but not least...updates on my relationship!
Still very much in love with my darling and would continue loving him for a long looonnggg time (chose not to say "Forever" because "i love him forever" sounds too childish. Besides, there's no such thing as forever -.-). Enough said. =)

Urgh..my eyes are getting dry........ *.*
Time to go off...tatas

25th ANNIVERSARY

On the 12th of January it was my parent's 25th marriage anniversary! Wow! And after all these years they're still so loving... They're definitely the example of what I want my marriage to be in the future. =)
The reason I'm blogging about this so late : Internet died on my laptop again. Apparently it works well with the rest of the com's in the house except mine. wth? The internet's being a prejudice! hmphs.

...in continuation.
My dad bought my mom this bouquet and that silver swinging chair with a couple on it which is supposed to represent them. Aww... My dad's so sweetly corny although they've been married for sooo many years. Bet my mom loves it. haha!
I love my mom and dad so much. I'm pretty sure they're the best parents in the world because they've always lead a good example for my family and have never failed to shower us with love as well as the occasional material things that we need. Which is why, I, as a GOOD daughter have picked up all these good values to pass on to my family in the future! *ahem ahem* =P

Shall continue with a longer post next time when I'm really really free.
Take care! =)

What Have I been DOING??
(I can't think of any other title. This is also a very late update)

While working in Khiel's for the past week or so, after Christmas everything slowed down because the hype of shopping was over, so we pretty much sat around and did whatever we could do. Eg: Pack, clean, talk to each other, stone.

For me and Ashley (my partner at that time), it was to sit at the baby area, playing with baby toys and to read the "Change the world for a fiver" about a billion times. It's an interesting book though. :)

Ignore the eye bags please. I've had the lack of sleep since work started. Am just getting used to waking up early. Also, ignore the ugly hair because I'm just too lazy to blow dry it in the morning. Plus, its better that way 'cause the hair doesn't annoy me by sticking all over my face throughout the day. haha.

In most of the Khiel's boutique, there's a real Harley and since I could never ride a real Harley on the road, all I could do is sit on it and snap a picture and visualize myself swooshing through the high way in extreme speed. whhhoooo :p

Anyway, I went back to the Loreal office on 4th January-8th January but will be posted again to Midvalley for the next two weeks through several brands to learn more about the brands. Thank goodness I have the passion to learn about skin care and cosmetics, so every experience excites me a whole lot. haha. Will be going to Shu Uemura on 11-13th Jan. Woot. And personal grooming training on the 15th at the Lancome training center Bangsar! ;)

Apart from that, I'm highly intrigued by this brand : Laneige
I was so excited when I saw the packaging of their compact powder and although I don't really use compact powder anymore, I had to have it!
Might come in handy anyway. ;)

At first glance, it looks like a slide phone 'cause the mirror's on the front!
And no, they didn't originally have the blings on the packaging but you could ask them to stick it on for you upon purchase because a sheet of bling/mini pearl stickers comes with it anyway.

When you slide it up you'd see the compact powder.

And the sponge is just right underneath. Neat! :)
So yeah, basically I'm just excited over the packaging and I bought it. haha.

I've seen a lot of weird things in my 21 years in this world. Yes, I've seen impersonators, but this is the first time I actually saw someone who uses someone else's picture and is daring enough to add the REAL person who's in the picture. I must say, that person has balls or is just plain weird.

FYI, I do not like people using my picture without my consent. So whoever that is, please stop being foolish. Thank you.

2010 is here!

Like I told my bf yesterday, "All the sia sui stuff of 2009 shall be gone!" *throws confetti in the air* =)

This is me supposedly pondering back into the year 2009. haha. ;)
So how was 2009 to me? Well, comparatively, it was better than 2006 all the way to 2008. I cried less And laughed more. I learned, I made friends, I graduated, I found a job, and...I fell in love with the most wonderful guy who loves me too. =)
Of course, the whole journey wasn't that simple but I figured that my blog have already recorded my whole life in 2009. So, if I'd like to go back to details, it's all in the archive. Ah, the usefulness of a blog. haha.

This may not be as important but, I've also almost met my 2009 resolution of getting better skin. In the past my face was filled with acne. It was basically a pimple garden. I used to cover it with super duper thick make up 'cause I couldn't face the world with such a hideous face. These days I still do have the occasional break outs during my period but it isn't as many as "those days". haha. Plus, my darling is always reassuring me that I look fine so I guess I'm able to build self confidence because of him. I feel more confident these days even without make up. Plus, he's seen me lot's of times at home when I'm most "selekeh". And he still wants me. aww.  =)

The pictures above are pretty irrelevant. But I just wanted to post it because it's been a long long time since I last camwhored. Plus, I would like to remember how I looked like in 2009. You know, I've to record the whole ageing process. Every year I'm getting older. Before you know it I'd have to start using all the anti-ageing creams and stuff and getting all worried bout lines and wrinkles...etc. :'(

Shall not dwell on the sad stuff about ageing and continue talking about my New Year celebration. heh.
We had a family BBQ!
My darling and sister's bf - Chester was there. Second sis joined us as usual. She can mix with the bf's pretty well. Hope she'll meet the right one soon. ;)

I made my own Jacket Potato!! *proud*
Look at all the cheezy goodness. Mmmmm.. :)

We had prawns, squid, lamb, chicken, potatoes, corn, sausages. =)

My mom and her 2 younger sisters. (Mom on the most left) I have plenty of other aunties and uncles from her side but only these 2 were the closest to her. Plus, we always invite them for everything. :p

I just had to pretend to be bbq-ing because it's a bbq. Duh.
My maid was doing most of the bbq-ing though. Wanted to help but she won't let me. I think she knew I was way too clumsy and had the potential to set the house of fire.
Seriously, yesterday I burned myself a gazillion times. Dropped 3 chicken. 1st chicken landed on the floor.
The second time, I dropped 2 at the same time. 1 landed on the floor and the other landed on my lap.
IT BURNED. My thighs. Oh gawd.
I also burned my fingers several times while trying to peel the prawns, chicken, etc.

Sigh.

Picture of me, mum and my cutesy doggie Jolly!

Me and my dad. Had to act all macho next to him with the arms folded to make the picture "macho-fied".

I have no idea what I just said.

While we were eating, my sister was holding a bowl of grapes.
Then it struck us.
We had the awesome-st idea for a photo.
"Chan Heng, go and lie down on the bench and act like a greek God while being fed grapes by slaves (Regina) and fanned by a Eunuch (Chester)"

He lied down on the bench.
Sister used the black plastic bag which was supposedly a "majestic robe"
*took picture*

Reaction from All of us : ............................................... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

He looks like a dead hamster!!!! L-O-L

I like sparkling grape juice. =)

We do not consume alcohol. Non of my family members does. It just doesn't run in the genes.
I practically hate the smell, the taste, the way it makes you look stupid after you're drunk. Everything.

After the bbq, we spent the night playing mahjong and watched a movie (License to Wed).

I had a really great New Year celebration. It was chilling, fun and most of all, I get to be with everyone I love. =)

I love you. =)
