Belated Valentines
Dinner
on 20 Feb
Since he wasn't here on Valentines Day it self..we postponed it to the following week. It's my first time celebrating Valentines with him =)
He gave me some options for dinner..but I decided to pick Dubrovnik Restaurant located in Solaris Mont Kiara. The other restaurants will be saved for our "other celebrations" (for eg: birthday, anniversary..hehe).
The reason I picked Dubrovnik was because..I've never tried Croatian cuisine before!
In the pictures..the environment fitted my "ideal restaurant for Valentines" perfectly. I prefer restaurants with fewer tables which exudes exclusivity of the place, dim lights and a romantic ambiance. Plus, the food there are so reasonably priced! Especially since it's the ONLY Croatian cuisine in Malaysia. You could check their menu on their website :

When I went there..I didn't know what to expect.. well..because, you know the case of "lying pictures"? Yeah, that was what I was afraid of. haha.
But the fact that it was located in Mont Kiara made me trust the place more because it's always so pretty over there anyway. Even the police has Lancers as their patrol cars. We saw one while we were on the way to the restaurant. haha.
Above are some pictures of the restaurant..which I stole online! Couldn't get such clear pictures because we went at night..and I didn't want to look "paria" by snapping pictures of the place with FLASH. Would've been so obvious. =/
Darling booked a place for us at 8pm..when we arrived they led us to this table for 2. They had this small candle thingie. Aw, how sweet. =)
Upstairs they had approximately 8 tables I think? Some had 2 seating while some were for a capacity of 6 people. It was a small area..but it was so cozy..loved it. =)
Oh! And they gave us this starter..which was bread and some sort of salsa thing..it was uber delicious! I love salsa-ish stuff. So addicted to it. Tabasco too.
While waiting for the food, I had nothing else better to do, I forced him to take weird pictures with me. Enlarged eyes, zoomed in face to mimic the look of an alien. :p
Oh, I decided to take pics of the Menu and the pepper/salt shaker too. haha. So now you know how it looks like! Lame, I know.
Do not ask me the name of the dishes because I seriously cannot recall right now. They have all sorts of names for their dishes.
It was all really yummy though. =)
Had Baskin Robbins after that. =)
Thanks dear for the dinner and all. I liked it very much =)
Btw, the restaurant is highly recommended!
